My husband phoned the surgery yesterday morning, explained the situation and managed to get an appointment. We saw Dr Bolton, who listened to what had happened and then did a thorough check up - he didn't rush when doing all the tests and then organised a blood test and ECG. He explained what would happen next and was very reassuring; he has a very reassuring manner. We took the notes to the receptionist, Jane, who organised an ECG for yesterday and then a BT for this morning. Clearly we don't know what the results are but we both appreciated the speedy and thoughtful response. Both the ECG and the BT were carried out on time so thank you to the staff we saw.
I'm one of those unfortunates who always felt that "doctor" thought I was a time waster, hypochondriac etc. hence my typical male reluctance to visit. Due to a very painful ear infection I had to come along and was fortunate to get an appt with the doctor my wife recommended. I will now be more than confident to visit in future, when necessary, due to the recommended doctors pleasant, constructive and understanding approach
Thanks for great service all round
I just went in to register and was absolutely blown away by how clean, well presented and friendly this practice is. Hopefully I won't get to see too much of the doctors, but the reception staff were friendly and helpful. A real pleasant change from my last doctors.
I saw Dr. Hoey yesterday at the Manor Practice. I hadn't seen her for quite a while as I was seeing another very good lady doctor. Dr. Hoey was very helpful, thorough and she also has a good understanding about mental health. When I left the surgery I felt good about the appointment and it made me remember what a great Doctor she is.
Receptionists always smiling and helpful, very friendly, always try to accommodate me, even if no appointments lef,t they always offer to get the doctor to ring me or sort out any query I have
